CWC Projects
The Climate, Water, and Carbon program is investing the OAA funds toward "Core Projects" and "Seed Grants". Together, these constitute CWC projects.
The CWC includes three founding core projects. These three projects were incorporated in the CWC proposal, which was evaluated during the TIE review process and subsequently approved by OAA. Hence, these three form the basis of the CWC investment. Two of these three are funded at about $2M and the other is funded at $1M.
The CWC is now in the process of inviting new core projects. Depending on the final number of funded core projects, they may be funded at $300K to well over a $1M each. The guidelines for proposing a new core project are:

During the first year of CWC operation, 14 seed grants were awarded with funding ranging from about $15K to $250K. Over the next three years, 2008 to 2010, the CWC expects to award nine new seed grants, at a rate of about three per year. These will be funded for one year at about $50K each.
The CWC is now in the process of inviting new seed grant projects, with a likely goal of funding three proposals. The guidelines for proposing a new seed grant project are:
